Wedding!!!!!!!!!

Blogging always seemed like an interesting thing to but I never seem to have the time!!! Well, being married has actually opened up more time then I thought it would. . .So I decided to start my blogging with the thoughts of my wedding!

WOW!!!!!!  What an absolutely amazing day!!!  Everything was exactly how I pictured it should be and more!  My parents did the most spectacular job that I wouldn't even know where to begin to start thanking them!

The day started with my Maid of Honor, Nicole, my Bridesmaids Jordan and Renee and my Junior Bridesmaid Angelica getting up at 6 in the morning to start getting ready.  My mom provided bagels and cantaloupe (MY FAVORITE) and orange juice.  Then after showers and what not, Nicole, Jordan, Renee and Angelica headed over to my hairdressers place to start that whole hair up-do thing!  At this point...I was as calm as I think I have ever been (which surprised EVERYONE because calm is usually not in my line of vocabulary).

Then by 10:00 am, Me, Nicole, Jordan and Angelica headed up to Nick's grandparents house to start the "getting ready" process (which included chocolate covered strawberries!!!).

At around 11ish, Crystal then started doing my hair while the girls started getting their dresses on. Right after me, while Nicole put my make-up on, Crystal did my mommy's hair!

NOW, keep in mind, I choose to NOT wear a watch so that I could rid myself of possible reasons to get overwhelmed (and that note right there is more important for later).

At this point, it was now my turn to get ready!  With the help of my mommy and bridesmaids, I stepped into my wedding dress while they held the train.  My mommy then had the honors of zipping up my wedding dress.  Crystal shortly thereafter put my veil on.  Now keep in mind, although the Lord blessed us a pretty amazing day, it was still hot with 12 women crammed into on room!

All the way up until this point, my mother and I have been pretty good about the tears.  THEN, to my COMPLETE surprise, my mother and father presented my with a matching set of earrings, necklace and bracelet made with Swarovski crystals and pearls that matched my dress PERFECTLY!!!  Well at that time, the tears instantly started pouring between the two of us!  My parents had already done so much and the fact that went above and beyond even further showed my just how much they truly wanted to make this the most important day!

After that was all said and done, we were finally ready to leave.  Now up to this point I hadn't even asked the time, nevermind thinking that we were late!  So as I was getting into the limo I finally realized that I kinda wanted to know the time.  Well to my COMPLETE surprise, it was 1:30!!! Now everyone who will probably be reading this knows that my wedding was supposed to START at 1:30.  Yet...I still didn't panic!  My though: they can't start the wedding without me!!!! (ha-ha)

Needless to say, upon arriving at the church we didn't have much time to relax.  By the time we got there, till the time we started all walking down the aisle was probably maybe 15 minutes or so!!!

Either way, The Ceremony went absolutely flawless!  I cried going down the aisle and my daddy so graciously gave me away to the man of my dreams.

After that, the day continued in quite the blur.  By the time I had a chance to breathe, Nick and I were already in the hotel room getting ready to finally take a rest!  But that's ok, because I have pictures and family and friends to tell me everything I ever needed to know!!! :-)

What a fun time, from getting ready to hanging out outside before everyone left the reception! The best is yet to come, though :).

What a beautiful couple you guys make and a beautiful wedding. Steve said at dave and jess wedding that "the best is yet to come", and he was right.

Enjoy this new turn in the book of life!
