Honeymoon!

Well it was definitely an exciting week as Nick and I headed of to the Poconos, particularly the resort called Cove Haven.  The one thing that we LOVED most about being there is although there were SOOOO many things we could do, we never felt forced to do them.  The activities were there whenever we wanted to do them, which means we could do something fun, go back to the room to nap or relax and then go back out to do more activities.
We first started out just touring the place (Sunday the 22nd).  Finding out where certain things were held and what times certain things were going on.  We also unpacked some and just took in the most amazing room I think I have ever stayed in.

Throughout the week we did things like archeary, driving range, mini-golf, speedboating, ice skating, roller skating, racket ball, tennis, pool, basketball and the best part, horseback riding.  We tried to make sure we did everything possible.

We even went and met up with Grandpa Hurley who was golfing just 45 minutes away from where we were!! He took us to lunch at this awesome place he used to stop at when he was a trucker and I have of course ordered a nice big juicy cheeseburger.  He then brought us back to the inn he was staying to show us the really nice suite he was staying in for the same price as as regular room.  He was so proud of his room!

It was so much fun but overall, a week was definitely enough time.  We wanted to get back and see all of our friends and family and of course, pick up our little Cody boy!!!

It was good that you were able to do so much, though I am sure you enjoyed the room, gorgeous as it was, as much as the activities! Cody was in good hands with Grandma Howe and was even able to go to the beach while you honeymooned! Love, Mom F

The Poconos is fun place to have a honeymoon. The atmosphere is nice for romance. We went there for our honeymoon almost 5 years ago. Although, it seems like only yesterday.

Enjoyed reading.

Awesome honeymoon!! We went to Pocono Palace for our one-yr anniversary, thanks to D's parents, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there. It looks like you guys sure packed a lot in during your stay! Glad you're back and settling into married life nicely :).
