This is just a quick post to let everyone know that I have finally gotten a call from Nicholas!!! After 7 weeks of just letters, the Lord blessed me with a 30 minute phone call on Sunday!!! (I had also gotten like a 10 minute random phone call on Saturday because they were at some fair supporting the Ms. Georgia pagaent and there was a phone booth so Nick said that any of the guys who had wives/fiances/girlfriends at home, camped out in the tent waiting in line for any type of phone call :-)...but the Sunday one was the official one)! He let me know that now the punishments are individual so if someone messes up they alone get punished and not the whole platoon! So hopefully I'll be getting a call once a week now!!! :-)
My husband sounds SOOOOOO happy! He said he is absolutely LOVING what he is doing (even on the hard days) and still truly feels this is the path the Lord wants him down! I am SOOOOO excited/happy for him and can't WAIT to see him!!! As of today (5/17/10) I have 17 days before I fly down to Georgia for his 36-hour pass!!! Everyday my stomach and heart swell a little more with how close we truly are getting down to everything!!! There are 53 days till his graduation!!! We are officially under the halfway mark at this point!!! :-)
